Well, mid-way through the holidays and I'm bored off my arse to be honest.

Great opening line to a journal, eh? Well, it gets better. Honestly!

Hmm, I guess I should really at least mention my trip to Japan. Gawd, how I miss being there.. suffice to say it was possibly the best experience of my life so far. Going to so many new places, meeting so many new people and having a chance to brush up on my Japanese skills was amazing! I miss the place so much infact that I'm already planning on saving up for a langauge course there next year. Not to mention applying for a year long teaching position next September for when I finish Uni.. but eh, I can talk of that more in another Journal entry, no?

Onto the whole point of the title! After all, it isn't often that a Journal title has mention of an Artist's cat, right? Well, it'd be half right. I'm not talking about the great artist's cat in this particular mention, but the band that I am now a Vocalist for! After Chris' (Guitar legend and partner 'o mine) Sister who was the prior lead singer left to live up a new life in good ol' Newcastle I decided to step on into the gap and aid out the band in their time of need.

Check the above for the band's website! Although, bear in mind I have only had said position for a week and so, although my name may be mentioned the songs playing are sung by Polly still, not me. Might be a lil while till we change that.. heh, being rather lazy and all with regards to the update of such things.

Still, nonetheless, thankfully we tend not to be so lazy when it comes to gigging it up! Hence my point, in the near future if we have any gigs it would be awesome if any of you guys can make it! Usually it's announced over Myspace but well, those who know me will probably know sooner! We generally play around Winchester/Southampton/Portsmouth area more than anything but hell, have been known to zoom on up to London in the past!

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is.. any support in this venture in the future would be awesome. XD
